The Flamingo Vintage process
Flamingo Vintage is for those who want to get more out of their wardrobe:
more meaning, more personality, a longer lifespan and more purpose.
While fast-fashion chains replace and waste garments as disposable products, things are completely different here.
Here you see what really sets Flamingo Vintage apart.
Selection
The Treasure Hunt
This is where it all begins.
I hand-select each piece through specialist vintage wholesalers – no random bundles, no guesswork, no shortcuts.
I look for:
Elegance, craftsmanship, quality, romantic silhouettes, timeless femininity and that special something that makes a garment come alive.
For each item I determine whether it fits completely into my collection, so only the best items go with me.
Treatment
The Intention
Once home, each garment is carefully sorted, cleaned and cared for.
This includes:
Gently treating stains, repairing minor defects (such as a loose button or a loose thread), washing each item and steaming or ironing it until it looks and feels like new
This may sound like a lot of work, which it is, but it makes a garment worth wearing again.
Photography
The Story
I photograph every garment myself – both styled and individually.
Yes, often in my living room.
Yes, often with me as a model.
And yes, always with love.
My goal is simple:
Showing you how a piece can move, feel, and come to life on a real body.
I consciously style each look so you can see not only what it is, but also how you can wear it: romantic, feminine, casual. It's all possible.
Sale
The Transfer
Finally, I measure each garment, write down its story, and add all the details you need to find the perfect fit.
When you place an order, I'll lovingly package your garment. Not as a transaction, but as a moment in time.
Because receiving a piece of clothing with a past should feel special.
Then it becomes yours:
to style, to love, to live in and to continue his story.
